One of the most attractive dates to stick in your diary this summer is the International Festival of Music and Dance in Granada. The origin comes from the concerts celebrated in the Palace of Carlos V since 1883 and the Cante Jondo Competition in the Plaza de los Aljibes in the Alhambra in 1922 where artists and intellectuals such as Federico García Lorca, Manuel de Falla, Ramón Gómez de la Serna and Santiago Rusiñol.

The International Manuel de Falla workshops celebrate their 40th anniversary as one of the longest running educational programs in Spain. They highlight the importance the Festival places on education in the sphere of music, dance, investigation, interpretation and other interrelated disciplines.

Office will be open between the 18th May and 25th June (Monday – Friday 11:00 – 13:30 and 17:00 – 19:00, Saturdays from 11:00 – 13:30), 26th June and 12th July (everyday from 11:00 – 13:30 and 17:00 – 19:00) and from 13th July to 31st July from Monday to Friday 11:00 – 13:30.
