Over one hundred works are brought together to showcase the talent of one of the most genuine representational artists in Malaga, Francisco Torres Mata. The Museo del Patrimonio Cultural in Malaga will exhibit 115 works until 15th February which span the whole of his artistic career. Landscapes, rural scenes, women and nude portraits, depictions of motherhood as well as the posters and banners of religious brotherhoods will occupy the walls of the three rooms dedicated to this exhibition.
Private collectors in Malaga and from other cities in Spain have supported this exhibition as well as other institutions and organisations like religious brotherhoods, the university and the town hall. A total of 71 individuals have shown great generosity in temporarily lending their works to the collection so that the talent of this great artist can be celebrated in a retrospective exhibition.
