Alcaudete Castle - Alcaudete (Jaen)

In the heart of Andalusia, between Granada y Cordoba you’ll find Alcaudete Castle hidden away in the southern mountains of Jaen. Situated at a historic crossroads it has morphed over time to become a Muslim fortress, medieval castle and a palace. Located next to the church of Santa María La Mayor, its circular walls are the remnants of a rich history. Recently restored to contain the centre of interpretation, a visit will give you a unique perspective over the olive groves and orchards of Jaen.
