Andalucia’s Museum of Memory - Granada
The museum includes four exhibition halls dedicated to Andalusia’s diverse landscape, Andalusian society, ways of life, and finally Andalusian art and culture. The interactive displays are especially exciting for children, as visitors can interact with the displays and hear actors represent historical figures important to Andalusia’s past. The timeline of Andalusia’s art history is particularly interesting. The building itself is spectacular. Designed by Alberto Campo Baeza, with an elliptic ramp connecting the three levels, the museum organizes exhibitions, theatre, workshops and has a media library specialising in the culture, history and identity of Andalusia. Besides, you can always sit back and enjoy the views of Granada at Restaurante Tartessos on the top floor of the adjoining, narrow, screen-like building. |
