Museum of Fine Arts of Seville

Said to rank second only to the Prado, a visit to the beautiful former convent, the Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla, is a must. An art historian’s paradise covering the medieval period right up to the early 20th century, visitors are rewarded with Murillo Virgins, biblical scenes by Valdés Leal, Baroque masters, renaissance, romantic and realist art by Velázquez, Zurbarán, Pedro Millán, Pietro Torrigiano and El Greco (to name but a few).
